Frequently asked questions

How do I use the Knit13 customizing module?

To start, you pick your favorite design in the overview menu of the sweaters or scarves.

To alter the colours of your chosen garment, just click on the different colours in the colour menu on the left in the module. The tools to alter the text or upload a picture can be found in the toolbar.

Why do the images that I have created look a bit like drawings?

When you are customizing your favourite style, you will see a computerized image of your own design. Please mark that this garment has not been knitted yet, so we cannot present a picture of it! Therefore, the image is our best reproduction of what your final design is going to look like.

On top, colours and texture may differ on different screens.

How do I place an order?

To purchase a product, add the product to your shopping basket. Press Checkout. Afterwards enter your contact details and billing information. Then fill in your delivery address. In the last step you will get an overview page, you accept our terms and conditions and you confirm your payment by pressing the order button. Your purchase is final now.

Do I need an account to place an order?

You do not need an account to place an order.

We strongly recommend you to make an account though. Members on our list will receive updates, which will often also include coupons and discounts.

Does Knit13 ship internationally?

Yes, Knit13 ships to countries all around the world.

How much does the shipping cost?

All mentioned prices on Knit13 include VAT and exclude shipping costs.

The shipping costs are automatically calculated by our system before payment is made. This, of course, differs by country of destination.

At Knit13, the following shipping costs apply:

  • Belgium: €4 shipping cost.
  • Europe: €8 shipping cost    (Belgium excluded)
  • World: €12 shipping cost  (Europe excluded).

If you order for more than €275 euro, for Belgium and Europe, you will not pay any shipping costs.

The order will always be delivered to the address you have indicated as your billing address unless you have indicated differently at the time of the order.

What payment methods does Knit13 accept?

Knit13 accepts Credit cards, iDeal, Bank Transfer, Bancontact/Mister Cash, SOFORT banking, Belfius Direct Net, KBC payment button and Bitcoin.

The customer will have to make payment immediately while ordering. If not, Knit13 would not be able to manufacture the goods on time (see FAQ delivery time).

When will I receive my garment?

Orders will be delivered as soon as possible, but please consider a significantly longer delivery time compare to other webshops, simply because all our products are customized and only manufactured on demand!

Knit13 groups all orders per two weeks and then starts the manufacturing process. This means that your order will be produced in between two weeks and one month.

The following chart explains  how it works:

If the delivery time is not feasible, for example because of a temporary stock break of a specific yarn, we will notify you by e-mail. You then have the right to dissolve the agreement. Already paid amounts are credited as soon as possible, but definitely credited within 30 days.

Can I return my garment?

Return of products is only possible for non-customized products. Knit13 however has no stock of products, every single garment is made to order. So returning at Knit13 is not possible.

Please kindly understand that the possibility of another customer ordering the same style, in the same size and the same colours is about null.

How can I track my order and find out when it will get delivered?

Once your order has been sent, you will be alerted by email. This email will also contain the track&trace code of the delivery company used.

Does knit13 offer giftcards?

Yes, of course we do! You find ‘Gift Cards” in the website header. Please go straight to the shopping cart to order a gift card.

Does knit13 offer coupons or reductions?

Yes, Knit13 will regularly offer coupons and codes to his subscribed members. Please become a member on our list to receive these advantages.

How does the wishlist work?

If you particularly like a style and would want to remember it, click the HEART. All items will be grouped in your wishlist.

Can I put every text or image, what so ever, on my sweater?

The choice is yours!

But of course there are some obvious rules. Just to be thorough, here are the rules.

Knit13 retains the right not to produce any uploaded figure or design if that:

  1. infringes, misappropriates or violates a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights or other intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy;
  2. violates, or encourages any conduct that would violate, any applicable law or regulation or would give rise to civil liability;
  3. is fraudulent, false, misleading or deceptive;
  4. is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar or offensive;
  5. promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment or harm against any individual or group;
  6. is violent or threatening or promotes violence or actions that are threatening to any other person;
  7. promotes illegal or harmful activities or substances (including but not limited to activities that promote or provide instructional information regarding the manufacture or purchase of illegal weapons or illegal substances);
  8. is radically religious in nature.
